Thereza Michael, ONAD volunteer from Upper Nile

August 24, 2014

My name is Thereza Michael.

I come from Malakal, Upper NIte State. I joint what is today ONAD eight years ago and I never felt bored as a volunteer. My voluntary work inspired me to study social in University of Khartoum which I completed in 2011.

Since then, I am attached to nonviolence and peacebuilding program. I facilitate community-based trauma healing workshops and provide psychosocial support to the victims. Through my work, I feel closely attached to the communities in Yirol West and Mvolo Counties where we operate. They are my people!
